Eating cantaloupe yesterday, doin’ great. Call my mom to chat - find out I’m apparently the only one in our family not terribly allergic to cantaloupe.
Yesterday was a really really really really lucky day.
Also, my bridge card came in - so I don’t have to worry about feeding myself any more. I refuse to buy food that’s going to be terrible for me - like Ramen, or anything instant, and try and cook as healthily as I can for as cheap as I can, usually only buying things on sale. But $10 a week or less can only get you so far.
Luckily our card was approved for $315 a month, and after our big trip for the month, we have about half left. So I’m thinking that, because they don’t roll over, I’ll wait until the end of the month, get what we need over that time, and anything else I’ll spend on canned goods and the like for a shelter if I can find one. Which I’m sure I can, because I’m near Flint.
I think that would be a good trade-off.
